Leo Burnett Romania is where I’ve started working in advertising, an, as the legend says, it is an awesome school, of talented, responible, hard working people. The luck made it that I started on the most educative of clients: Procter & Gamble, an example of professionalism and thorough market & business understanding. Alongside, I worked on financial and fashion clients.
For Procter & Gamble, our team was responsible with developing locally relevant campaigns and coordinating the campaign implementation in the Balkanic countries: Bulgaria, Serbia, Muntenegro, Moldova, Albania, Bosnia.

Mediafax is one of the larget news agencies in Romania and it also offers press monitoring reports to corporate clients, from advertising agencies to pharma companies to sport brands or players. My work here was the „back-office” of such a report: I was listening to the news bulletins of the main Romanian radio stations and if one of the reporting topics came up, I summerized the piece of news, in both Romanian and English.

This media planning internship helped me understand how ads are positioned in media, based on reach and affinity and to be able to strategically use that in my current day to day activities. Tasks: calculating TRPs and GRPs for different kind of clients and media. At the end of the internship, a contest was organized and I received the 3rd place prize.

AEGEE is one of the largest pan-European interdisciplinary student organizations. It is a wonderful growth NGO, offering the framework to debate citizen liberties, to imagine a more coherent Europe, to organize various peer events (such as Summer Universities) and to fall in love with the multinational environment. Cinema.edu is a social learning platform for highschool pupils, through cinematography. Macondo is a film distributor in Romania and they use their access to indie films to screen them in highschools so that youngsters can learn about social issues in our nowadays world. I helped the NGO organize such screenings and developed communication materials.
