I randomly discovered kogonada.com – as random as you discover all inspirational things online. His videos, mesh-ups of famous films, fascinated and inspired me within the first seconds.
Watch this gentle, gracious tribute to Robert Bresson’s photography:

How accurate of Bresson imaginarium! How simple yet full of underlying meaning.
He (then) goes on with Sounds of Aronofsky.
Sounds of Aronofsky from kogonada on Vimeo.
Again, a suprising comprised work of Aronofsky, playing with his close-up and „macro-noises”. By the way, I highly recommend all of Aronofsky’s films, just one of those directors on the not-to-miss list.
Moving on to another such director, one with a completely different poetic. The mighty playful Wes. Say no more, just

Last one I’ll feature is Breaking Bad – Point of View, cause it’s also one of my fav TV shows and I appreciate Kogonada for taking note of this recurrent techique here.

If you watch all of Kogonada’s videos with a keen eye you might as well end up knowing more about shooting & directing.
