I always believe in the power of two: not two working simultaneously on the same task but consulting each other, completing each other, improving the work together. I developed on this here.
Working closely with web designers and developers I gathered up a list of inspiring resources to help us in brainstormings & briefings, when there’s a creative block or just as permanent learning resources.
In the hope of a more beautiful web, here they are:
I find it particularly useful when working on micro animations, on interactions, transitions or hidden Easter Eggs, if you’re the type to hide such “presents” for your users in the website.
Web Designer News is a resource worth subscribing to and reading through on a regular basis. It curates news, tools, resources for UXers, designers, developers, project managers and the whole team.
CodePen is a learning resource dedicated to Front-Enders. It showcases work in a double window – both the coding console and the interface. And the nice part is that you can interact and modify the source code there.
I always and regularly check AWWWARDS and CSS Design Awards and every young and senior designer and developer should, too. FreeCodeCamp is also a nice Medium community to follow, I highly recommend it, because it’s kind & empowering.
